Creativity is a language classroom superpower!

What a fantastic masterclass with tertiary language students, participating in Language in Action, my groundbreaking pedagogy that is transforming the way we learn and teach languages!

In our theoretical and practical sessions, we explored how sequential art, language meditation, drama, and improvisation can bring classrooms to life and inspire learners of all ages. It’s exciting to see how creative approaches can unlock confidence, curiosity, and genuine connection.

As an advocate for innovative teaching, I integrate comics, storytelling, and embodied learning to create immersive, accessible, and student-centred experiences. This approach continues to have a real impact in educational settings across all age demographics.

Special thanks to the students for allowing me to share these fantastic images!

After completing the South Australia, Western Australia, ACT, and NSW stages of the tour, we head to Victoria next before the Christmas break!
